Creators

Marka Staviarska was born in 1985 in Prešov. She graduated in Film Production and Distribution from the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. She is the author of five children's books and the editor-in-chief of the children's magazine Šikovníček. As a producer, she is behind the film Loli paradička. She leads interactive workshops for children on the filmmaking process and travels to small villages in Eastern Slovakia with her project Kino v tvojej obci (Cinema in Your Village), screening movies on a large inflatable screen.

Csaba Molnár was born in 1986 in Komárno. He studied Film and Television Directing as well as Fiction and Documentary Screenwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. He has directed the hit series Horná Dolná, numerous commercials, music videos, and puppet-based clips. He is the director and producer of the acclaimed series Pressburg.

Nick Kollár was born in 1992 in Winterthur, Switzerland. He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, specializing in Cinematography and Photography. As a Director of Photography (DoP), he has worked on the films Láska hory prenáša and The Magic Apple, as well as series such as Dáma a král, Prokurátorka, Kriminálka kraj, and the children's series Malá veľká liga.

Michal Lošonský graduated in Architectural Design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VŠVU) and in Architecture from the Slovak University of Technology (STU) in Bratislava. He also studied Scenography at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU). He specializes in both theater and film production design. His credits include the films The Kidnap (Únos), The Mound (Mohyla), Power (Moc), and By a Sharp Knife (Ostrým nožom). He is a two-time recipient of the DOSKY Award for Best Scenography of the Season—in 2019 for the production Catch-22 (Andrej Bagar Theatre in Nitra) and in 2023 for Kocúrkovo (Slovak National Theatre, Bratislava).

Andrea Madleňáková was born in 1993. She studied Scenography at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava. She collaborated as a costume designer on the series Pressburg.

Michaela Jeleneková is a producer with extensive experience in fiction and documentary filmmaking. As an executive producer, she has collaborated with directors such as Marko Škop, Juraj Lehotský, and Ivan Ostrochovský. Her credits as a producer include Plastic Symphony (dir. Juraj Lehotský, 2022) and Nobody Loves Me (dir. Tomáš Weinreb, Petr Kazda, 2023). She graduated in Production from VŠMU, is married, and has a son, Martin.

Palo Jelenek is a producer with years of experience in television and film production. He has produced successful documentary cycles for television, such as One Day, Birth of a Theater, and Gems of the Borderlands. As a co-producer, he has been involved in several feature films, including Woman on the Peak, Líta v tom, and Plastic Symphony. He is a graduate of VŠMU, is married, and has a son, Martin.
